After studying for awhile or reading...my brain feels fried!

Any natural cures for "fried brain syndrome" due to studying and reading alot?

No cures I know of--how about playing in the thread war going on? BTW, did that information on a narrative letter help? I hope so. If you have any kind of writing class, that OWL website should help a lot. C'mon over to the thread war, there's some people there who think they're winning, but they are wrong.

I always enjoyed tuning in to a particularly inane tv show, like a really melodramatic soap or a teen show like Degrassi! Something that required no mental effort of me at all.

I've had a mild case of it myself today, and basically I just napped and watched tv. Maybe taking a long shower would help too.

this happens to me a lot. after 2 or 3 hours of reading a textbook i will start staring into space, occasionally forcing myself to try to read a paragraph, only to find myself staring into space again 20 seconds. i like to take a 30 minute food break when this happens.
