Oddly enough, Canadian Thanksgiving used to be celebrated on a Thursday in November, just like American Thanksgiving. In fact it's moved around all over the place:

ZEN!! THERE YOU ARE!!!!!!!
 Happy Thanksgiving Day weekend to all of my fellow Canadians, we all totally rock. Eat lots of food, and then relax on Monday because nothing is going to be open!  I get an extra day off from my university, so I get a four day weekend.  I'm going to a wedding, and then a family reunion/dinner where I get a picture with all of my first cousins! Yay! (We're rarely all in the same spot... last time was when I was just a kid)Happy Thanksgiving Day all. I'm thankful for: My health, my social status, my religion and God, my family, my friends, my education, and the fact that life is pretty good overall!

Happy Thanksgiving Weekend to the rest of the Canadians out there!!!
I'm excited for this weekend as I am spending it with my best friend and her family (I live too far away from my family). It will be great. Hope everyone else has a good weekend too! (even if you aren't celebrating the holiday!!)

Happy Thanksgiving everybody. I've been invited to dinner on Sat. with a whole big group of friends. It's going to be fun and I plan on eating way too much. Much more relaxed than spending it with family.
