I went out tonight with Rex and we looked at Christmas lights. We were finally able to do it as the first night we were going to do I got sick and last night we were supposed to get thunderstorms so tonight was the night. Wow we saw some pretty displays.

We went to Fayetteville which is 2 towns away and is the home of the Hogs...its the home of the University of Arkansas and they always decorate their square up really neat. We also drove through a few neighborhoods there.

We also went to Bentonville which is next to my town and is the home of Walmart and their square is full of displays and all the buildings surrounding the square are decorated with lights.

What I thought was kind of ironic was we were listening to the radio and the Bonnie Raitt song I can't make you love me came on and started to sing it and I was thinking how ironic is that because I am very much in love with him and I don't think he has the same feelings for me. I don't know though and I don't have the guts to ask him. But I was trying hard not to laugh when he was singing the song.

So thought I would share my night with you.

Jan

I enjoy looking at christmas light displays too. As for your friend, I hope that things work out for you, I know the common saying is you never know until you try but I also know how hard that can be, I have been there a few times. I know that for the longest time I really regretted not telling a guy my feelings for him however it ended up working out in the end because later I met the love of my life.
