Is the book about what happens to the body once it goes to a medical school or some thing similar?

Yes but It also goes into body snatching and cannibalism. Very interesting. The author is Mary Roach.

Is this book something that would interest a mystery/thriller writer?
Like is there information that could be worked into a plot? What made you interested in the subject of the book. I've bought several non-fiction books about a lot of forensic stuff, what motivates a criminal, one on police procedure/investigation, and private investigating. One called, Urge to Kill that I can't read. It is too dark for me to get into the mind of killers too much. At least I chose not to read it after I bought it, when my depression kicked up its ugly head. It is still here on my shelf waiting until I need some insights. |

I'm interested in that sort of thing, from the point of view, "what can I learn from it to help me be a more realistic fiction writer".
Maybe I'll look for it in the library. The title is easy enough to remember as is the author. Thanks |

I love that book.
The first time I went into a psychiatric hospital they wouldn't let me have it because of my mental state and type of hallucinations and my obsessive about abnormal things. When I got out I read it. Haha. But it is really interesting. |
