I was watching the late night news program that ABC shows and they had a news story on about Ryan Air. It is a low cost airline in Europe. My sister and her family fly on it regularly as you can get tickets for as low as a dollar a ticket.
Anyway they said that on some of their planes they are going to charge you to use the bathroom. They are going to put a coin slot on the door and before you can open the door you have to put a coin in the slot. So my question is would you pay to pee? Jan

Well, first of all...I have done much research on the airline industry and the airlines themselves and I have to say...with all the problems that aircraft have today in a company that charges $500 and up for a ticket, I don't think I'd be caught dead...or alive on an aircraft that only charges $1.00 for a ticket anywhere!!
 This being said, NO...I would not pay to pee. I think this is a ridiculous idea and if it ever comes down to this then I will merely remain in my seat and pee my pants. It's always pretty cold on airplanes anyway so the nice warm feeling you get when you pee yourself would be nice!  Maybe when the airlines start realizing how much money they would spend on replacing their seats, they will stop charging to pee.

Depends how desperate I am. But I would make a fuss I would just turn around and say ok well I have no money so I think il just have to sit here and do it lol they will soon let you in :P . They used to charge in a lot of toilets down here on the ground in UK this is. But not sure if they still do or not now? But if I had to and was bursting probably would pay lol

Well it would depend on how badly I had to go. If I could hold it I would. But if I absolutely couldn't then I would have to pay the toll. lol. That's a very odd thing for them to do.. But I suppose since they are a cheap airline, then it's their way to get the money they need, or want. I can foresee a lot of UTI's forming over this. lol
