so things are starting to look up for me I guess. I got an internship with the Dept of Natural Resources this summer. And in the fall theyre going to pay for me to go present my research at the natural areas convention in washington (state, not dc).

then i was offered a position in a fellowship working on prairie restoration. and there is a possibility that theyll let me draft part of the paper so I could have my name on a published paper by the time I graduate.

i'm pretty excited seemed like for a while everything that could go wrong, was. hopefully that streak is over!

haha thanks brian. im actually staying in carbondale, i'm just traveling to Konza Prairie in kansas sometimes but I'm finishing my BS at SIU. (and trust me, if i could take elijah wood with me everywhere I would lol)
