Disillusioned with life. It's hits ya.

One of my patients died, not actually at the place where I work. He was in his fifties. (My T died last year, he was in his fifties too.) Does make me wonder what the h we are all on this planet for.

The only comfort I can take is that hopefully I made this chap's life better for a while. I sat with him about a month ago and he made me sit and watch Austin Powers. I remember thinking how childish it was but I'm glad I watched it with him. He had the biggest grin on his face that you ever did see!

Had to share with you all, life is very short.

Dearest Peg,

It is hurtie and you are not alone.

We are suffering with our losses here too. Not understanding the mystery, hoping for calm assurance we will all meet again in a transformed way.

Thank you for doing what you did for 'him'. He had a better life because of you, dear one.

Still praying comfort for you in the loss of your wonderful therapist from a year ago.

Blessing to you Pegasus.

{hugs peg} It's always hard when we lose patients. Kinda a lot of why I had to quit my job. Thank you for being so strong and continuing to be part of so many people's lives.
