Marty Jezer has died
He was one of the great ones and the real ones. There was no one like Marty Jezer. He came out of 60s idealism (communes, etc.) and never ceased to give wise, informed analysis of political and social trends in Brattleboro, Vermont, Amerika, and the Whole Globe. He was the best. I found this posted on another website I frequent and wanted to pass it along. Ganesha

his family and friends buried him today.
Vermont is locked into an incredible heat wave right now. there was a New Orleans style band playing hot jazz... they played, "When the Saints Come Marching In...." Has anyone here seen the Bread and Puppet shows up in Glover Vermont? that's where I grew to love that song.... it was their Grande finale song. Well on a super hot day in June a good man was buried. Our community will gather this weekend to talk, laugh and cry about his life. I guess he was in pain even right up to the end. thanks everybody for all the caring you have given me. these are major portholes to pass through and it's wonderful to have support. Ganesha
