I'm so sorry for the loss of your dear sister.
(I lost a sister a few years ago- I was 35 she was 50-- it was very hard)

When "reality" finally hits -- no matter when that is-- it sure can be rough.

"letting go" should be on your own schedule-- NOT on anyone elses..... and the process is individual as well.

Please be kind to yourself at this tender time.

There is no time table for grief. It runs it course differently and individually. I'm sorry it's still fresh and I empathize with you Starlite. Is it getting any easier for you? I hope time is kind to you and she will be in more peace as your grief lightens. Be kind to yourself Starlite.

"When we fall in love, we slip into feelings of oneness and completeness; our aching comes to rest. And when we lose our beloved, we plunge into an emptiness and insufficiency like nothing we have ever known before." –Divine Madness: Archetypes of Romantic Love by John Ryan Haule
Though this quote deals with romantic love I think it can easily apply to the love we have for those who have been a part of our life including the love you have for your sister.
The pain you have now is a testament to the great depth of love you have for her.
I wish you peace.

I'm so sorry that it's taking it's toll on you just now, there is no timetable for it to affect you and hit you. hang in there, sending comforting hugs and prayers.
