Billie died Tuesday Night

I took care of Billie 5 days a week, 50+ hours for a year. She had congestive heart failure and very frail. After I went there, she gained 13 lbs and really turned around. We had such good times together. She was 79 when I started working for her. I cooked and she ate. She loved sugar and I tried weaning her off of it, but it was difficult.

I haven't been able to see her. Her daughter and son in law moved in and took over. I would drive by her house, but they were always there. It was really a sad situation. She didn't want them there, but was too feeble to keep them from moving in. They wanted the house and knew that if they were there when she died, they would have a better chance at getting it. Having me there, kept them from "taking over", so getting me out was their solution. They forbade me from coming to see her.

I'm going to the funeral. Billie knew that I loved her very much and I knew that she loved me. It makes me so sad that I couldn't see her and I know she always wondered where I was. She asked one son why I was so late every day. Her mind was very "iffy" most of the time.

Please send angel wings for her trip to see Fred. She told me many times that she was ready to go and be with him. xoxox pat

This is so sad. I remember you talking about taking care of her...and the problems when the "family" moved in and took over. She now knows all about how you fought for her, and cared for her. Peace at last. ((((hugs))))
