yahhhhhhh I finally made it thru an anniversary of my mom's death without mopping around all day wishing she had loved me!! woo hooo!! I am so happy!!

thanks girls. sure feels that way. It took me a long time to realize that my mother hating me was not my fault at all. She is the one that lost out. I feel sorry for her though. She was a miserable person and died unhappy.

I hope in time I will have the same breakthrough, Nov 26th is coming soon, dad died in 2002 on that day, and it is very hard still. But memories of the fun times from when my brothers and I were kids up till 2002, are becoming more of the foreground, while the bad memories are fading into the background, so I guess that's a begining, eh?  You are a special person, and I am happy you posted here, sharing this, being an inspiration to many of us. Love, DE
