LMo,

THANK YOU so much for posting that photo...it is so precious to see them cuddled up like that. Did you get them at the same time? When I had two cats, they finally reached a detante, but would never have curled up like that together.

What cuties!

I am sorry to hear about your cats passing. It is difficult to lose someone you love.

Hugs...

Thanks Azalysa - I never knew it was possible to love cats this much after losing Large Marge. I missed her so much that I couldn't imagine betraying her by getting new ones. It took me 2 years. Anyway, I found an ad for these two (no picture) on Craigslist, and my husband and I went to meet them. He fell in love immediately, and I panicked. We had pre-agreed that we wouldn't make any decisions in "front of them", so we went home and he begged. Anyway, a week later, they moved in. The girl who we adopted them from had found them together as kittens in a closed cardboard box on a busy street. We assume that they are brother and sister -- they actually do look alike if you can get past the coloring and bone structure. They take really good care of each other and are best friends.

When the time comes (and sadly, I now recognize that it will), I will again adopt siblings. I have seen that it is the best way for cats to grow up.

Anyway, didn't mean to hijack this thread. I'm sorry. I do want to extend my most heartfelt condolences to AlwaysSearching and all of my friends here who are grieving for their pets who have passed on One of my cats crossed the Rainbow Bridge today.

I'm sorry for the loss of your dear, sweet, Beavis. They just have a way of getting our skin and into our hearts.
You're in my thoughts and praysers.
