My ex father in law died a couple of hours ago. I am feeling so guilty for not going to see him in the last couple of years but I just did not want to see him failing. Now I wish I had gone. I hope he knew I really loved him even though his son and I were divorced. He was a good man. please keep the family in your prayers

Try not to beat yourself up for all you didn't do before he died. I'm sure he knew you loved him. Even if he didn't, I'm sure that somehow he knows how terrible you're feeling now about your regret and that you do love him very much!

Today was the funeral. I don't think I have ever seen one so beautiful in my life. No sad songs or sad preaching. A musical celebration for a man that was loved by so many. I hope when it is my time mine would be just like his today. I am truely blessed.
