as some of you or most of you know I lost my mother in law Tuesday. she was a dear friend as well. I am having a difficult time dealing with this since we didn't get to view her body. there is no closure for me. all I saw was a box at the cemetary. we never even went to the funeral home. My father in law wanted it this way but to me I just can't seem to get thru this like it happened. Thank all of you for your prayers and love.

Elaine -

My mother was so beautiful, I wanted to be able to remember her the way she was. So I had my husband bring the clothes I had purchased for my mom to be dressed in to the funeral parlor. Then about a week after she was buried, I went to the room in the nursing home where she had resided, and sure enough there sat another lady--sort of leaning in the same direction my mother did, but definitely not my Mom.

I will pray that God will guide you to some ritual to bring you closure on this loss for you.

Hugs,

EJ

I'm sorry for you loss. Perhaps having a ceremony of your own would provide some closure. You can invite others or not, but it should have some meaning for you., just a thought.
