I think it depends really on how long ago it was or if they were sick really. I miss my dad but I can't say I am sad. I grieved for him for a year before he passed. hope that makes sense

Thatīs interesting. Mine was very sick too and I feel like i was a lot more sad BEFORE he died ( he was also sick for one year). Maybe thatīs the reason?

that is the way I was hon. every time I left him I cried. he was a very religous man and I know where he went. I find comfort in that. and mine was the last face he saw. hard to be sad when you know where they are.

I grieved a year before my mother died as I had lost her the way she was. When she passed I felt a real sense of joy come over me. I knew it was gods time not mine and he had her where she needed to be. It was a weird feeling though as I felt maybe people would look at me strange for feeling that way, but they didn't. It's a feeling of never ending love and of unselfish love which is very special to feel. You are special!
