My best friend passed away July 11th and I couldn't be by her side because I was in the hospital recovering from surgery. I also missed her funeral. I have so much pain and guilt from this it's unbearable. I know she understands but I just can't move beyond the fact she's gone and i never said goodbye.

PLEASE believe me that she knows! She knows how you feel, and she knows you couldn't be there. Please don't feel guilty. She knows how you feel, and that you loved her.

There may come a time when you actually 'feel' her around you. You may smell her perfume, or feel her touch or just "sense" that she's there. It WILL come. It may take time -- just be patient.

But please don't feel guilty. You couldn't help it -- there's nothing you could have done to change it. And she knows that. So forgive yourself. God bless and and please take care. Hugs, Lee
