.....you've been gone 32 years! Mom, I miss you and love you and want to wish you a Happy Birthday on this 4th of July.

I remember you telling me many years ago that as a young child, you thought that the fireworks were just for you as it was your birthday. Well, ever since you told me that, I always believe that those fireworks were for you! Even now, 32 years after your death, they are still for you.

I don't think that a day goes by that I don't think of you or talk about you. It's always good thoughts, funny thoughts of laughs we've had in the past. You were always so good at laughing at your own screw ups, and I have definitely inherited that same behavior. Thank you for teaching it to me!

You were a lady, through and through. I miss you Mom. It will be a great day when I can see you and hug you again.

Yes, I am very blessed with such great memories of my mom. She did the best she could do through her life and she did it with love. Whenever I find myself thinking like her or acting like her, I am reminded of her more and more.
