i know its not my loss but thought i would ask for anyone who prays to pray for the yankee pitcher and the others on board that had the plane crash into an nyc apartment building late this afternoon please keep them and their families in your prayers thanks

I remember when Thurman Munson died in a plane crash. (And I'm not a Yankees fan!) But Cory Lidle and his family certainly are in my prayers. What a terrible accident.

yeah i know thats the first thing i thought of though munson's was worse because he was alive when the plane was burning but stuck inside that image has never left my mind

Oh no
 I didn't know that about Munson. I was just a kid when it happened, young teen at most (I don't remember the exact year), but I remember feeling bad about it. Even though I'm not a Yankees fan, I really liked him. I always paid lots of attention to the catchers, because I was one too. I went out for Halloween one year as Carlton Fisk!I'll say an extra prayer tonight for the Yankees family, too. Candy |
