Chuck would be 34 this Sunday, the 10th.

On Saturday, February 10th, 2007, at about 6 in the morning, I woke to pounding on my front door. I jumped up and answered it.

There were 2 county cops saying that they needed to come in and speak to is. I had to go get my husband, who was frail and ill. On the way back to the door, I almost fell down. It felt like all of my blood had drained out of me, so I sat quickly, and just as quickly I flew up and watched the rest of this terrible day from outside myself.

They told us that our baby, our oldest boy, had been killed in an auto accident.

I'm sorry, I wanted to write it all down, but I cannot do that now.

Thanks tho

I'm so sorry. I really can't imagine what pain you must be in. Birthday I would think would always be the worse. Take care of yourself.

Sharing w us about your son sounds like it is important to you. Just know that we are here for you when you feel like you want to talk more.

Big comforting hugs to you.

I'm very sorry for your loss. A few years ago I lost my best friend who was also about your sons age, she was 27, it was unexpected. I was there at the hospital that day with her mum. Looking at her mum that day I felt like I could feel just a touch of what she was feeling, and it was the worst horror I've ever felt. My heart is still broken over this. I wish I could take the pain away for her, I wish there was something I could say. We still see each other, and like to tell stories about my friend who I will never stop talking or thinking about. I will pray for you to find some relief from your pain. So very sorry again.
