A friend of mine that I worked with for three years passed away the other day. I didn't want to post, but this is the closest I can get to proper grieving.
He was only 53 and left behind two teen children. His poor daughter looked just like him, big, strong and with flaming red hair. At about 6'2" and around 250 lbs, Jack was as big and strong as he was goofy. When he would walk into a room or even just around the corner all you had to say was, "Oh, it's Just Jack," and he would strike the pose, which given his size was hilarious. He had contracted a very, very, very rare disease somehow. One that the doctors just couldn't figure out. They only got it diagnosed recently and he was able to fight it off. But his immune system was left so compromised that he got an infection that spread and killed him within a day. I apologize for my consistent downers lately, but this is the only place I knew to be able to verbalize my thoughts. Thank you. |

Sorry to hear about your friend. It is hard to lose someone at such a young age. Glad you posted, especially, if it helps with your grief.
