Today is the day on which I have lived longer than my sister did. She died 3 years ago next Wednesday. I feel that it should have been me that died. She has sons, grandkids, friends. She shoulda been able to be here for them. I don't have anyone. Why wasn't it me?

I'm sorry about your sister I have guilt over the death of my best friend, but we have to understand that it was not our fault. We can not control or undo what happened so we can only learn to live with it, though it's never easy.
Hang in there

We have to understand that life is not at our command, if it were I would have been dead a long time ago. I know you miss your sister but it was not your fault and now she has a peaceful existance where ever she is. But I do beilieve she is watching over you. Don't feel guilt. We are not given choices in some things. You have my sympathy as you continue to grieve the death of your sister, as I do my mom. Best wishes. You still have purpose.
