Due to circumstances beyond my control, I was unable to do this on an anniversary date.
![]() http://www.sandford.org/gandercrash/...ver_page.shtml I still haven't been able to fully read through all the obfuscating congressional and research reports, but believe what I suspect.. That may not be true but I've got to go with my blanket distrust of all 'authority' who demand respect while failing over and over again to earn it. ~Down |

Downs, having just lost my nephew in Iraq, i have a better understanding of what you've been through all these years. i am so sorry about this. i've read reports about this previously but i didn't know your brother was killed. i think i first heard of this about five years ago.
i also understand your difficulty in trusting our government. i am still stuck on the question of why the blackhawk that Brian was on was filled with so many high level officers........ love, pat |

Thanks guys,
LMo, the crash of a plane bringing US airborne soldiers home from the mid-east peacekeeping mission, was at Gander in Canada. My baby brother was a in charge of a medics squad or platoon, both he and I are about as American as one could get, although part of the family did go to Canada in the late 1700s. I must admit I've considered going myself during the early 70's and again in the last few years. Fayerody, yes the secrecy involved with military ops can lead one easily to suspect first and trust no one in authority, unless you've been 'trained' to. Encouraging open, responsible government and truth is an ongoing struggle and a way I attempt to honor and grieve, those taken too soon. Those who forget or miss read history are doomed to repeat it, and all. Thanks again, hope you're well~Down |

not having answers is just about one of the most stressful things to deal with when we lose someone. it never, ever leaves....it hovers......always waiting to creep in when your mind is a bit free.
i am well......crazy, but well. ![]() |
