When I was a child, I lost my grandmother to breast cancer. The part that hurts the most is that they had caught it before it had spread and it required her to have a breast removed, and she refused. When she finally agreed to any treatment at all it had spread, and she died shortly after. I still remember the last time I saw her, the way she looked, her voice, everything about that night. I still cry when I think about her at all, and I doubt I will ever truly learn to deal with the fact she is gone and shes not coming back.
That being said, I am so sorry for anyone that has lost a loved one. |
