Hey there. Well my dad passed away almost 2 weeks ago and I'm feeling low. Real low. I have had panic attacks and ocd for a while now but since he left everything seems to be intensified. I was his caregiver and did not work because I was tending to him. Now I have no idea which direction to go. I need to finish school and get a job but I feel so overwhelmed. We were really close and I'm struggling to find my new "normal." Guess I just need to vent. I do have a good support system but I feel as if I need to find myself.

I just wanted to say I am so sorry for your enormous loss (((Softballjunkie)))

I can't even imagine what you are going through.

May you find some comfort moving forward in finishing school and your future career.

Softballjunkie, I'm so sorry for you.
Both my mother and father had cancer, but luckily they're both with us still. Anyway, I have often thought when they were ill about their possible death and it felt exactly like you say, with a bad worsening of all my symptoms.
You will find your direction, eventually, but for the moment allow yourself to grieve.

Dear softballjunkie, I am so sorry for your loss. This is a very hard time to get through. I have experienced the exact same thing with my father, so if you want to talk I'm here.

I'm sorry to hear about your father. I know it can be hard losing a loved one after a long illness. I took care of my mother and father. I know how alone it can leave you feeling. Give yourself some time. Things will come together.
