I just found out one of my friends committed suicide. And today is the 10 month mark of my dad's unexpected death.

I'm so sorry for your loss. In my experience, losing someone to suicide causes a special kind of grief.

Anytime. I had a difficult time with suicidal thoughts and attempts in the past. I am glad I do not have that issue anymore. And now I know what it is like on the receiving side when someone close to me does die that way. It has changed my entire thought pattern on it.
