April 15, 2016, my dad died unexpectedly. Right out of the blue. On a day he was supposed to go on a trip. Today, April 15, 2017, is the 1 year mark of his death. I still remember how I found out. Where I was when I was told, who called me, who was there for me, everything. It sucks not having my dad around. And I miss him horribly.

Losing our parents is a very special sort of loss. I am so sorry that you're dad has passed.
