One year ago, today... in approximately eight hours, I got the phone call. In eight and a half hours, I had to tell your soul mate/my brother what had happened. I held him as he broke.

One year ago today, I lost my friend. The world lost another light. A light so many people miss. We all look up to that same spot in the sky, that void where you once shined so brightly.

I miss you. We all do.

We love you.

I am sorry for the loss of your dear friend. It must be rough to have to be reminded of that loss every year. Anniversaries can be so difficult.

How are you going to spend this time to keep yourself feeling okay about yourself and your life?

I'm actually setting up for and going on a road trip. I leave in a couple hours. Mostly, I just keep paying different tributes to her in my own ways.
