Tomorrow is the 3 year anniversary of my dads death. And I have to work tomorrow and if people give me trouble like they’ve been doing I’m going to get upset. I hate it when people are jerks to you and they don’t seem to think that maybe you are distracted and upset for a VERY good reason.
Does anyone know how to handle this? |

Well... since you posted this yesterday, presumably your day at work today has already occurred. Hopefully it went well & you're okay.
![]() ![]() Perhaps if you're familiar with the concept of compassionate abiding, you might be able to use this to help get you though these kinds of situations in the future. Here's a link to a description of the practice, in case you're not familiar: https://mindsetdoc.wordpress.com/201...e-abiding-101/ May it be of benefit. ![]() ![]()

It went fine yesterday at work. I just kept to myself and worked on the other side away from my other coworkers
There’s just this one coworker who’s either rude or just totally ignores me. I’d rather have her ignore me. It stresses me out when she’s rude. I visited the cemetery before work and I felt ok. I bought an awesome salad from Dennys before going into work. So maybe that had something to do with my decent work day. Whenever I’m Nervous or anxious about work I bring something for lunch that I’m really looking forward to eating. Sounds weird, but whatever works. |
