You know, you can’t talk much about suicide IRL. It’s taboo.

I don’t really need anyone to read this. I just wanted to write it out.

Even though it was very difficult to take care of her, and I’ll admit that she made me and my family pretty miserable, I loved my mom. I was an only child, and my mom and dad split when I was 3, and my father was absent and his side of the family didn’t accept me. My mother’s family was overseas. She was all I knew, all I ever had growing up.

I get upset sometimes when I see commercials about suicide prevention.

Possible trigger:
i am sorry for your lost. my mom and two of my brother attempted suicide. I lost my brother in law to suicide.

Sorry for your loss. My sister committed suicide. I understand your fear because I fear it too I had two great Aunts commit suicide as well. SO I am always afraid of it for myself. I also am afraid to upset anyone because I don't want them to kill themselves.

Oh, I think so. I grew up listening to her talking about it as a solution to problems, or saying she would do it if X happened. It is hard for me not to think this way.

I’ve had intense SI

My dad talked about it to. He was successful a little over four years ago. What's scary is I understand why.

I am so sorry for your loss. I admire you. You did all you could. Your mom was so unhappy and just didn't see a way out. I did the same thing but am still here to talk about it. Your mom was so lucky to have you. I am sure she realizes that.
