Hello,
Last year I lost an Aunt.
Went to the funeral and it was
very painful.
I reunited with a couple of step cousins
that I've known since my childhood so for 30+
years. But they were like strangers to me & vice versa.
I pretty much loathed the majority of people at the funeral service. And I hated how the female cousin SCREAMED as the casket was being closed.
She got on my nerves.
I hated the WAKE. Alcohol was served & THAT WAS ALL THAT WAS SERVED. I don't drink, but no one seemed to care about that. I was pretty infuriated but I kept composed. No one talked to me. Well here is how the very BRIEF conversation went everyone.
***** do you want something to eat? okay" ( then the male cousin turns away quickly like I have cooties or something)
Another female cousin briefly asked me if I was alright but she didn't seem sincere at all. Then she turned away. What this told me was that she didn't want to ask me if I was alright in the first place, because if she gave a damn SHE WOULD HAVE TALKED TO ME for a bit.
Worst of all were the two step cousins HORRIBLE manners.
When Mom & I were about to leave THEY didn't even say good bye!
Those two despite their highly educated backgrounds were extremely stupid!
Enough alcohol to put down an elephant & not so much as any coffee was this a wake or a frat party?
The female step cousin acting like June Cleaver PLAYING HOSTESS
Then adding insult to injury no goodbye.
A slow cut across my arm would have been less painful. Oh & when the male cousin stepped out of the house to go to the store, guess what he brought back? More alcohol BEER! I wasn't asked if I needed anything.
Wow what a JERK!
