I know this has nothin go do with death, but recently I lost a friendship that meant the world to me. This person was my best friend, my partner in crime, she was like a sister to me. I know that people grow apart and people change but it is still hard to not be able to talk to the one person who you thought you could always go to and trust. I guess the point is don't put more effort into a friendship or relationship when your are the only person doing anything and making an effort.

Hi hjr16. Welcome to Psych Central. Sorry for your loss. Sounds like it was a rough experience for you.

Whether we lose someone through death or life changes, any loss can be hurtful and take time to heal like a deep wound.

This absolutely has to do with loss. Glad you posted in this forum.
