I feel by sharing our grief, putting it out there, knowing that others have experienced loss as well, may help to make us feel connected to life as opposed to feeling alienated by it(?)

Too many now. But I think of my late younger brother more and more often these days...
(I was listening to the Jefferson Airplane doing "Comin' Back To Me" and I let all the names and faces float by...played it twice...and even remember when the song itself was young)

yeah, why not grieve? isn't death the Big One? and there is no closure, just revisiting facets of the past. eventually, it could be like cream and rise to the top.

To PD, I found myself thinking about you today. Thank you for your friendship and all the thoughts, hopes and dreams we shared. You were a very special person and there are moments in my life when I think about you. I know you told me not to be sad but I am afraid I couldn't not be and I remember you now with a tear but also a smile for the gentle sweet person you were.
