[StarPonysMama]

I had Star for 22 years. Her show name was "Hollywood StarFire". She was no less than a child to me. I am not sure what i feels like to loose a human child but I am sure that this was pretty close to the most intense emptiness I have ever felt.

She died 12/12/07 mercifully of a heart attack. She was a freedom loving spirit who craved the greener grass on the other side of the fence. She helped to shape me into the person I have become. She gave me a mane and shoulder to cry on several times. And she had more character than Mr. Ed.

God bless you girl........I hear your hoofbeats in heaven..............

we expect you've already heard this story, but we find it infinitely comforting when our companions die, so we will post it again, it is called The Rainbow Bridge & our vet has a huge laminated copy of this on her wall

Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
