I lost my father to suicide in 82. I still miss him sometimes, now is one of those times. I've thought before it is like what people who lose limbs go through when they have to adapt to not having an arm or a leg. It feels good though that I can revisit this grief, and know that he isn't coming back. I have my memories...

It does help that you all are here. I guess I am disillusioned about mental health services, sometimes it just has to come from within, you know what I mean?

Thank you for the support, everyone!

It comes in phases, sometimes just gets triggered by some randomn event.

I miss him and still love him, I can never really forgive him, but I have learned a lot about suicide and it's frequency, it is more common than I thought. People who do it just lost touch with reality somehow and it hits, I pray I never do the same, I saw how much damagew and pain it caused and also how the world keeps going unaffected by an act of suicide by anyone. We aren't that important to the functioning of the earth and society, individually. Sad but true...

We are important to each other who know us and love us, I am soooo grateful for that.

Losing the people that brought you into this world is a pain we can barely describe.

Sometimes I miss him and the pain makes me want to give up in my life.

I told myself that I would have rather that he lived as a bum, than kill himself, like he did.

SOmetimes I feel so mad about it, I want it to stop...........

It will not though, so I wish it would.

Suicide SUCKS!
