She was also a colleague. It was totally unexpected. And today is her birthday. We were going to go out to lunch to celebrate. She was way too young to die, but apparently God had different plans for her.
I am bereft. I will miss her greatly. Okie __________________

Okie, I am so sorry for your loss. I too have just lost a friend. I keep telling myself that the pain I am feeling is a sign that I loved that person. My thoughts are with you.

Losing anybody is very hard. Losing a friend, someone whom you could be yourself around is very, very hard. Thinking of you both.....
