my mom passed away 8 yrs ago so I know what it is to miss a mother. One thing that can never be taken away is our memories...hold on to those...

Has been so lonely and sad.

I miss laughing with you... it always made me smile to see you having a nice time. I dont think it happened often enough for you. You had a beautiful and hearty laugh.

I miss your voice. The one that comforted me. The one that told me no, when you knew something wasn't good for me to do or have. The one that I could listen to all day, just because it was the softest and most gentle noise I ever heard.

I miss your smile. Some say we have the same smile. I dont know, but I think yours is the prettiest. I also think it showed how big your heart was. How much love you had, and how much you wanted to give everyone joy and happiness.

I miss your soft skin, when I kissed you goodnight on your cheek or gave you a hug. You had the prettiest skin I ever saw.

I miss your hugs . You gave the best hugs. Always so sincere, always showing how much you loved .

I miss your cooking too lol. I haven't found your bread pudding recipe yet lol. Where did you put it? LOL

I miss watching tv with you. Especially watching Miami Vice.. and how you and I ooo lala'd when we both saw Don Johnson lol. You made me giggle every time you did that you know.

I miss eating peanut butter, miracle whip and pickle sandwiches with you. Because only you and I knew how good they were.

I miss listening to Helen Ready, Sonny and Cher, Shaun Cassidy and so many others thinking I had the coolest mom ever.

I miss going shopping with you. OMGosh, remember that time when we went to look for pants for me. And you picked out this polyester pair with elastic around the top. I looked at them in fear.. I said " mom those are old lady pants!!" And you looked at me back saying "yeah so they are for me lol." I dont think I was ever so relieved to know you picked them out for you lol. And going to Skyline Restaurant .. You were so reluctant to let me have the breadpudding because they put whisky sauce on it. But you let me anyways. Thank you Mom.

It was always so much fun having you play Price is Right with Shelly, Sheila , Julie and I. You were always so nice to make sure we had our prices at a realistic range lol. We always tried to overprice things lol.

And I miss the way you showed my friends hospitality. Providing us with Pepsi Floats just so everyone would make me laugh and snort the pepsi out my nose. I guess that was their entertainment too? LOL

Thank you for letting me play dress up with your pretty dresses, hats, shoes and purses. And even when I used too much of your good perfume.

You always gave me the best of everything you had to give. Always putting me first in your life. You will never know just how much your love, hugs and constant support in the short 23 years I had you in my life meant to me. It will always mean so much to me.

I believe with all my heart Mom, that I had the absolute best Mom I could have possibly been blessed with. Thank you for always showing , giving and making me feel loved.

(((((((((((( Wantoheal))))))))))) thank you.. she was all this and so much more. I just thought of things in my heart that stuck there about her. And I had to find a way to celebrate her rather than grieve her like I've done for so many years. I know deep in my heart she wouldnt want me to be sad.

I'm sorry I cannot read right now, it's too close to home, but I am thinking of you.

I do want you to know I've always admired the solid relationship you had with your mom and I think it's wonderful that you got to experience it.

Your mom is right beside you when thinking those wonderful memories and feeling those emotions. She knows, and she loves you. Thank you for sharing those wonderful moments together. I have a smile on my face and a tear in my eye.

Its ok ((((((((((( Orange Blossom)))))))))))) I really do understand what you mean. Thank you so much for replying. I can honestly say that she would have adored so many of my friends here at PC. And embraced you all into her life. I think you all would have been calling her mom lol. I was so fortunate to have had her in my life. I dont think I would have had a good side to me if she wasnt there.

I am also glad that you are starting to get that with your mom. That closeness.
