We tried so hard. Your grave has been bare for nearly a year since you left us. I went one morning and planted grass seed....it was ok for a while, but it left too. The flowers we leave are stolen each time. Ive given up, almost. My last bit of hope was in that maybe we could place a monument. Maybe she would allow a gesture so meaningful to be done without argument by his family who truly loved him. But, no. She always wins.

We submitted a proof to the attorney who tried to get her opinion. She shot it down. WOuldn't even look at it. Said she already had plans and was content with them.

we tried, Dad we tried, Dad we tried, Dad

I can't even put a headstone on my own father's grave.
