I lost my aunt last night. we werent estranged, but we werent constantly talking like we used to. I found out she died. she was very ill.

I dont think i will ever know what happened between us. only hope is that she will look down on me and smile.

she only saw me as needy and pushy. she didnt get to see the me now. the stronger person. the person who tries desparately to not SI. the person who got her faith back......she didnt see.

and now i sit here ready to shut down. ready to crawl in the hole and never come out.

I am very sorry. I just lost my aunt today, too. Don't crawl in a hole--this isn't it, there is more. She can now get to the you that you are now. She will now be able to see the wonderful person you have become, and she will see it without blinders on, without prejudice, without foregone conclusion. Believe.
P. S. Remember, too, that she undoubtedly had her own issues, as we all do, and may have been unable to either handle yours with hers or unable to separate the two.

Can i just say thank you SO VERY MUCH???? do you have any idea how your input helps? You have given me an outsiders perspective on an inside turmoil.

Really, i wish i could say more. But you have always been MORE than helpful. you truly are a great positive influence here. I hope to get to know you better.

Thank you for making a depressed schmoe feel better. also I am sorry for your loss. You have made me feel better.

Thank you. I'm glad I could. Sometimes we are too close to a situation and just need a helping hand. I also want to say congradulations on turning your life around. I do believe that your aunt will see the now and new you.
