Going to miss Johnny Carson, he passed away Sunday Morning at the age of 79

I just saw that too Angie. Sad day. He hasn't looked good in the last few years. He will be missed too.

I'm adding my own tribute to yours, if you don't mind. He was a big part of my life for many years as he was for us "oldesters." There was never one like him before and there will never be another.

I've been watching the news and such and it is such a job to see that face.....those deadpan looks, the way he treated the comics that he hosted, the questions that he would ask children and the wonderful, wonderful way he dealt with that little elderly lady that he had on pretty often. Does anyone remember her? She was darling and he was so tender and sweet with her. I watched his last show, with Bette Midler, and he truly went out in style...just the way he treated others.....
