Merry Christmas Mom! This is the first year without you. This has been a year of great pains and great joys. Losing you in February and Grandpa October last year was really hard.

Kenny proposed today....I know you would be happy. I ended up sobbing because I was not able to share this with you. I know you are looking in on me and you would be so proud of the woman I am becoming.

The ring is nothing fancy, but he got it because it's what *I* wanted. New Years is our anniversary, please don't come around then!

I know dad didn't want to celebrate this year, so we are just going to stop by for a few minutes. Please help him get through this year and help him not to get angry with us tomorrow.

We are making dinner tomorrow, in your honor. I am making a donation to cancer research, in your honor.

I will be thinking of you.

I love you and I miss you so very very much. Please help us all through this time, we need you right now.

BJ

Bless your heart Dear Person!

I personally want to thank you, and your Mother for raising such a wonderful daughter ~ who would be thoughtful and decisive enough to donate to cancer research in her honor.

How proud of you I am, as a cancer patient, to know your heart!

Be well, and continue on establishing your happiness this year ~ that is all a Mother really wants for her children ~ to be happy and find someone who will treat them right and who makes them happy.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

Peace and Love and Congratulations,
night
xoxo

Thank you and you are more than welcome!

Cancer is a huge problem and I want nothing more than a cure! It has taken too many of my family members. I wear my Livestrong bracelet every day and have not taken it off since mom passed in February. I guess I should order more in case this one breaks! LOL

I donate as much as I can because I would hate to see anyone else go through what mom went through...it was heartbreaking.

It means a lot that you are thankful and proud of me.

I will be thinking of you, night, knowing that you will be ok! I just believe it!

Thanks again for the kind words.

(((((( onlymedid & mom ))))))))))

I'm sorry I didn't see this thread earlier. My heart cries for you as I too lost my mom to cancer in Nov. 1981. Yep, it's been a long time. But the holidays were so special to her, so I try to keep her memory alive during this time by doing what she used to do.....bake up a storm!

You have worked through so many times of loss this year, as I have watched in your posting. You continue to grow, live, love and learn...exactly like what your mom would have wanted you to do. I can see her so very proud of you, her beloved daughter. I took the same road....I refused to let the pain of loosing mom run my life. She never would have wanted that.

You honor your mom in beautiful ways. You are an inspiration to others facing the same kind of scenario. May you always feel your mom's love and devotion to you.

Thank you, Sabby. I can only hope that mom is as proud of me as I wish she is. I wasn't much to be proud of when she was here, so now I am trying to be everything she was hoping I could and would be.

I see my sisters' letting the pain of losing mom drag them down and I feel bad for them and vow to be stronger than the sadness. Mom would not want us to wallow in sorrow, but to be thankful for each day we have and live life to the best of our abilities.

Thanks again, your message really touched me.
