I don't know if this belongs in this forum, but I'm aware that as I've been working with my partner in counseling, and addressing the affect of my PTSD on her that there has been a sadness I'm aware of.

Reflected in my partner's face, was the lonliness and loss she feels at missing me, missing who I really am.

I miss myself--my healthy self--too.

For all who have lost loved ones, as another human being who has lost loved ones, (including myself) I wish you freedom from suffering and the happiness that comes from accepting the tender heart willing to love.

Take care,

sky
