I had a huge reaction to something I drank last Wednesday. I talked to a few people about it and it appears it may be the sulphites in the product, at least that is what they all have in common.
It was a huge pressure on my chest. It is a feeling of 'like having a heart attack' but not. Friends suggested getting tested for allergies. I have not been tested by a Dr. for allergies but have been by a naturopath years ago. It was quite scarry but it seems that it has been building in my system because it happened slightly one time, then more another time and this time a full fledge out and out experience. All three drinks were a mixture of things and all three were different from each other. They were all from out of a glass bottle too. They were all from reputable sources and but the sources were all different. Going to Dr, to ask for allergy testing but wondering if anyone else has experienced this with sulphites? Thanks Hunny

I have the same reaction... Crystal Light is a sure bet and one glassful will do me in... I also have issues with lemon-lime drinks (but not 7-up now, they changed something.
Feel better soon ![]()

Sky,
Thanks for mentioning this. I think it may have to do with the way they have to use sulphites to preserve the lemon lime. The last drink I had was a lemon lime flavour. I can eat real lemons and limes though, no problem. Hunny ![]()
