Okay, is anyone else here suffering from CFS?
It's the only answer right now for why I've been so ill since last December. I was told I was in the waiting list to see a CFS specialist, turns out it didn't even happen, so now I have to ask to be referred by my psych(for whatever reason, my doctor said he needs someone to refer me there, he needs to know "what to do", he's crap needless to say) and wait for even longer. I'm playing guessing games on how to even feel better. ![]() If anyone does suffer from CFS, maybe we could talk... I'd like to feel less alone... and see if anyone can relate to what's going on... and maybe help/support me? Thanks in advance... ![]() |

I have had CFS and Fibro sort of dos always say yes and no about it...because I have the symptoms. I have found that simply getting enough sleep on a daily basis helps the fatigue and pain.

This is the thing though, I do get sleep, and I am still feeling...terrible.
It's really draining, and fatigue/exhaustion is just one of the things going on for me right now. I'm just waiting now, and I'm so tired of it. I'm on Tramadol and Paracetamol for now, and it helps a bit, but I've been on the tramadol for months so it's losing it's effectiveness. |

I'm trying to remember back... what I did when I was sleeping constantly was to start taking Evening primrose oil and fish oil.
from:http://www.articlesbase.com/health-a...ence-3481.html Since this study was published further advances have been made, and the findings released by a leading professor in the United Kingdom state clearly that he considers Chronic Fatigue Syndrome to be a genuine physical illness. The professor describes how he came to conclude that CFS could be successfully treated by supplementation with essential fatty acids, specifically ultra-pure EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and virgin evening primrose oil. Since both these sets of findings were released, more and more people are turning to high grade ethyl EPA fish oil to help with this debilitating condition. anyway thats what I did... you can buy an easy form called Efamol but you need to take big doses to get the essential fatty acids that you need to heal. ![]() Water |

It's not just the sleep though, as I said.
I'm just waiting now to see a specialist. Until then, I'm on tramadol and paracetamol for the pain, and gonna take as much vitamins as I can to keep my immune system going, and try to get as much sleep as I can, as well as pacing(which helps CFS too) and just play guessing games like I have done for the past 7 months *sigh* |

Hi Pupp. I like your avatar.
I have both CFS and fibro. I've got no words of wisdom for you, but you said it might help to know you are not alone, sadly, you are not. Gotta agree with you. I really sucks to get enough sleep and still feel exhausted. ![]() |

Yes, it does suck...
It may be sad that others suffer from this condition, but it is not sad that others can relate, as being alone is even suckier, therefore being comforted with not being alone is a pro in all this. I'm a bit concerned if it is not CFS, though it is looking like it is, as I don't have any other answers as to explain these symptoms, the exhaustion, the weakness, the muscle pains, the chest pains, body pains, body aches, headaches, vision/eye problems, balance problems, heart problems, nausea, god this could go on. I've read a long list of the symptoms associated with CFS, and the symptoms I'm suffering from are on that list, so I don't know what else this could be, as CFS seems to be the closest answer... Wish me luck on finding answers and solutions to this... I'll need it... |
