I dont know which hurts more. To have to tell how this happened or my leg lol. So a week ago last Thursday, I was getting out of the tub, lost my footing, and slipped . Hit my hip hard, and got my lower leg tangled up in the dang mess lol. And got bruised up a bit. :: Anywhoo, beginning of this past week, I started getting charley horses, mainly in the morning. But the pain from them lasts throughout the day. I cant bend my foot upward to try to stretch it without it nearly sending me thru the roof. I know I reinjured my knee in the process from spraining it in May. So that is a given, but this pain is in my calf that is the big problem right now. I did try to go to our urgent care in town here but they were closing. Other option was to go to the hospital, and I nixed that . Didnt want to deal with the whole hospital scene. Probably not the best choice, but it was made. I do feel some heat in the calf area, and there is swelling also. I am concerned there is a blood clot. I so hope not though. But after not being on my leg much with reinjuring the knee, and the fact that it was injured again, leads me to think this is what it is. I am getting ready to go to the doctor whenever I can get in. They may end up sending me across the hall to the urgent care for testing. IDK... Just please keep me in your thoughts that this is only charley horses happening. LOL... yeah laughter cuz I am scared and worried. Thats me . ::

Thanks Bebop, I have an appt at the hospital at 1:30 to get an ultrasound. Will let someone know if I cant come home lol. Dr did think it was a blood clot , or strained muscle from my fall. So we will see. Wish me luck!

Happy to let you know that it isnt a blood clot. Waiting to hear from the doctor on where to go from here. I do have an appt for my knee already the 24th with the orthopaedic doctor. So I may just have to wait till then to see what he says. Whew what a day its been!!
