I chipped my tooth today, and of course, tomorrow is a holiday, so I won't be able to see anyone until monday.
 Any suggestions of what I can do till then? It hurts when I breathe through my mouth, which sucks, because I have these wonderful spring allergies, that stop up my nose....I put my my fitted bleaching tray in, which helps, but if I leave it on too long it makes me gag. (that was probably TMI) Do they make Band-Aids for teeth?

Ouch - sorry to hear that Queen.
 How did it happen? I don't know what you can do to ease the pain except pain medication. I hope you can get it fixed soon - to bad it's the long weekend.

I chipped it on a bottle of Coke. It's the one right in front on the right side on the bottom row.
I guess I'm gonna have to breathe, drink, & eat through a straw this weekend.

When I was a kid I chipped the bottom corner of my top front tooth, by biting on a pen. It was small enough just to be bonded. What do you think the dentist will do? Is it big where you'll need a vaneer or just bonding? it's frustrating when we make mistakes like that.

Sometimes there are dentists who are on call after hours and on holidays. Perhaps you could call around and see if you could find one. I hope you're able to get it fixed soon.

Queenie you shouldnt have been doing coke in the first place
 They actually do make bandaids for teeth. You can buy a kit at your local pharmacy. You mix it and put the paste over the exposed area in the tooth. It dries hard and should last a few days that is unless you decide to do coke again

Found one! Going at 8am tomorrow.
I think they'll just have to put some bonding on it. I think I chipped the one right above it too....>.< |

I just had my tooth taken out. Broke it on a granola bar. Hard one. Glad for you that they could save yours! Billi
