My power chair finally arrived!!! Yeeeeehaaaaaaaaaa!! Look out mall! Here I come!! YYAAAAAAAYYY!

It's kinda scary, though. Feels like how the moon rover moves! Over rocks, high thresholds, three wheels at one level and the other three at another! YIKES!! WoooooHoooooooo!!! What fun!

Go, Speedracer! Go!!

WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! hehehe

Actually, it's not all that fast. My first electric skooter now, that would go! But I can go many more places with this chair now. I'm gonna hit Every Single Store at the mall and Every Single Isle! LOL It's much narrower than the scooter and much, much, much narrower that the wheelchair I've been using.

No! No helmet!! Hu uh! Noop! No way, no how! From the day I was born, I could never tolerate anything on my head! And a chin strap? YIKES! Phobia! Phobia! Besides, it already has a seat belt in it! LOL Don't think I'm gonna use that, either! YYAAAAAAAYYY!

They do move pretty fast, my dad had one, we even have him on tape coming out of the house when my husband set up a ramp at his front door.
Dad came zooming out, and I said it almost looked like he was running away from my mom. YYAAAAAAAYYY!
Drive safely now. YYAAAAAAAYYY!

ROFL! That had to have looked funny! Wish I had a tape of my trying to get used to my silly chair today. It sure made me mad at the time, but now that I've let off some steam, I'm begining to chuckle at myself.

This is a chair with a joy stick. If I tell you I've never handled any kind of a joy stick, would it give you any idea of how I did?

Dang chair is made like a dang tank!! As long as I/it are on level ground, the problems are few until I have to back up or turn to either side. But I learned really quick and the hard way that if I'm going to be stationery, I need to turn it off!!! I moved a washer and a dryer because I leaned too far to the right... and caught a couple of toes between the foot rest and the washer! OUCHIES!! I'm okay, though. No bruises. Did I happen to mention that it almost walks over the lose pavers I have leading up to my deck? I swear! It's a moon rover!! YYAAAAAAAYYY! Wonder how it will do in the sand at the beach? YYAAAAAAAYYY! That might be the test! But I gotta do the mall, first! YYAAAAAAAYYY!

LOL I always have a rental w/c jazzy type with joystick when I go to Disney... have for years now... lol BTW it needs big inflatable tires to run through sand (unless it has offroad wheels for you, not standard) I have trouble finding one that will take even a short curb UP though, at Disney in the dark before the fireworks I 've gone DOWN a curb without seeing it! You will find you want that seat belt if you stay in it while on any bus or someone driving... off is always good for battery ... I'm so glad you have one! (No, I don't have one, this is something my lawyer refused to follow through with so it's BACK on the list... they all said (my lawyer, the opposing lawyer, and the adjuster) that being able to go out and do something (if I had the motorized w/c) Is NOT part of "quality of life!!!" sigh sorry I didn't mean to make this post about me... but you know how I'm feeling... and I know YOU understand ((((Sept)))) btw there ARE speed controls on them.... so don't always have them on high, and then the touch of the joystick won't send you into the street!

The two main tires right under the seat are great big but they are puncture proof. The other four tires are little. The guy that delivered it went through everything with me, but little did he know of my memory loss. LOL When he was telling me about the speeds, he told me there's a turtle and a rabbit on it, so when I was gonna go down the ramp, what do I ask him? "Where's the rabbit?" ROFL I meant the turtle!!! My ramp isn't to code so it's a little steep. Can you imagine if I'd found the rabbit??? YYAAAAAAAYYY! I would have gone into the tool shed just like my grankids do when they ride my little wheeled garden cart!! LOLOL It wouldn't have been so much fun for me, though! That shed would still be going down the street, taking fences, laundry room and more mobile homes with it! YYAAAAAAAYYY! I pity the poor people at the mall! LOL That's when the turtle will come in handy, eh? YYAAAAAAAYYY! Maybe I won't go into too many stores any time soon. LOLOL What a trip!!
