I had a tooth removed a little over a week ago. First ever. There were stiches and it was an intense experience but hey, life goes on. However, now I feel a hard point up high on my inside gum. It hurts to touch. Is it bone? tooth? What do I do? I am waiting to see what my insurance will pay for a bridge. DO NOT want to be toothless.
If it's root or bone or such how is it fixed? |

I've had two teeth pulled... One of them was broken below the gum line when they pulled it, and occasionally little chips of tooth will work their way out of the socket... It's kind of disconcerting, and when I pull the chip out w/tweezers, it'll leave a sore spot that heals within a day or two... Teeth pulling isn't always a clean operation. You may want to call the office & see if he left a ridge of tooth or something behind?
