This past session with T, he had a light go off in his head when I started talking about my PMS. Seemed I had really bad PMS and was physically screaming at my computer at work because I couldn't get it to work right. I told T this jokingly. But I could see the light bulbs going off. Seems I'm more "s" the week before my period and each attempt and hospitalization I've had was the week or a few days before my monthly. So he has me tracking my symptoms of depression, anger, frustration and "s" feelings to see when during the month I have them the most. Has anyone else followed their symptoms or have PMDD? I just got finished reading on the web and my mouth just dropped. So much I could relate to. I saw that PMDD is more common in women with PTSD. Does anyone know where I can find more information on the relationship between PMDD and PTSD? I'm sorry PMDD is making so much sense to me and my moods right now I'm a little execited. Thanks, for reading, Monty

I can totally relate to your post. Most of the time I'm fine. I was previously treated for depression and anxiety disorders and I have found that in the week-10 days leading up to my period things are just absolutely HORRIBLE. I am the worst human being on the face of the earth and I feel out of control with the situation. I think definitely it could be PMDD. That's actually an excellent idea with the tracking, I think I'll do the same tracking PMDD symptoms ( women's issues poss. trigger?) Take care and good luck!

Hugs,
Kimberly.

Thanks for the hugs Kimberly
I've been telling my regular doctor I see for my yearly exams that my moods go crazy just before I start and I've always been brushed off. So I just quit talking about it and thought I have just bad PMS. And I just jokingly said something about it to T. And he really listened and said it sounds like I have PMDD. My depression and anxiety just go off the chart and as soon as I start it's gone. I found a website if you want to track your symptoms and then you can talk to your doc later if you think you need to. www.factsforhealth.org it's got other disorders on their as well. It's got information on how to track your symptoms. Good Luck, I hope you find this helpful. Monty
