hi just thought id post this to motivate myself. I need to loose at least 55kg to be back into a healthy weight range (i wont be thin once i loose 55 but i will be healthy).
Today i want to start my long journey towards this goal.
In the past i have been obsessive with weight loss and starved myself down to unhealthy weights. But not this time i accept it will take a long time but i have to try. My health is at stake.
I am already insullin resistant and i dont want to get diabetes.
Wish me luck with resisting almost all temptations, calorie counting and getting some exercise!

Hi, you must diet (slow but sure - healthy diet), less a carbohydrate and replacing them with nutritious meals plus jogging 30 minute every day. Good luck

my regimen is eating mostly raw foods, and staying away from white carbs. Plus, no way to get around exercising. walking is a good start.

Good luck disguise. I'm on a journey myself right now so I'll pop in here once in a while to give you support. It is good not be alone during this process.

Don't get discouraged! Even if you eat something that isn't the healthiest for you, doesn't mean you are ruined. Just make the next food choice a healthier one.

I am in a weight study program through a university and they recommended a 1200 calorie a day diet, healthy food choices, and 30 minutes of walking for healthy weight loss.

Good Luck!

Yes, in fact it does. They said that it is proven that three, 10 minute bouts of exercise is just as effective as 30 minutes all at once. So even if you walk in place for 10 minutes in the morning, 10 minutes at lunch, and 10 minutes in the evening, you are still going to get the same amount of calories burned as 30 minutes of exercise done all at once.

I have a lot of information from the weight study on how to eat healthy and make real lifestyle chances if you want it. I can scan it and email it. They said we are allowed to give out the information. Just let me know.

I have been trying to slim down for my surgery in Sept. Its tough and I have been too rigid causing undue stress for me.
Hope things are going well!!

Hugs;
