I'm all screwed up.
Well, come to think of it, ive been all screwed up all my life LOL but really, lately I either cant sleep or sleep for like 15 hours. For example, tthree nights ago I stayed up until 1130 the next morning because I couldnt sleep. Then l slept until 4 pm and forced myself to get up thinking that I would reset my sleep schedule. Forced myself to go to sleep at 1130 which was really freaking hard, slept that awful wake up every half hour sleep until about 6, then fell asleep totally finally and didnt wake up until THREE THIRTY in the afternoon!!! so essentially, I slept 16 straight hours. It is now 730 am. I cant sleep. doesnt look like i will be sleeping any time soon either. *sigh* Make it stop /sob lol I wish I had never taken the stupid night shift when I was working. Its screwed me all up. |

Sounds a bit like depression.....that is what usually causes my aweful off the wall sleeping habbits. I know it can take a long time to get them back where they should be.

I do the exact same thing you do...sleeping until 4pm and not being able to sleep until 7 or 8 in the morning. My sleep gets that way if I don't have to wake up early.
Since classes started, my sleep habits have been a little better but I still sleep until 3 pm on the weekends. I'm not depressed or anything, I think that's just how my body's clock is set up. Even when I have to get up at 7am, I usually cannot fall asleep until at least 1 am. If I don't have to get up I could easily sleep until 3 pm. To solve my problem I need to wake up early everyday. Going to bed early doesn't help because no matter how tired I am, I just cannot sleep at an earlier time. I have to force myself to get up early instead. That makes me tired enough to sleep at around 1 am instead of 4 am.
